Deanna Campbell

Harvest Homecoming, Inc. is pleased to honor Deanna Campbell as the 2009 Harvest Homecoming Educator of the Year.

Mrs. Campbell is in her 36th year of teaching at S. Ellen Jones Elementary School.  Mrs. Campbell believes in service learning and states that "beautifying others lives" is her motto for herself and the students in the classroom.

Mrs. Campbell shares that her teaching career began as a mission and has evolved to be a privilege, and that her students are not only mastering basic academic content, but that they have the  opportunity to learn about and participate in the world around them. 

"I can think of no greater reward than seeing my students grow and succeed as mature young adults returning to share their families and lives with me," reflects Mrs. Campbell.
